Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, Mrs. Gertrude Morrissey of North River, aged 80 years. Predeceased by husband William, parents Patrick and Margaret Dunn, son Martin in infancy, sisters Regina (Red) Bell, Mary (Bernard) Cousins, Sara (Carl) Lezear, Isabelle (husbands Ralph Organ and Fred Harris), brothers George Dunne, Bernard (Olga) Dunn and Edward Dunn, brothers-in-law John Moore and Roy Eades. Leaving to mourn sons Gus (Deidre), Patrick (Christine), William (Wendy), Gerald (Paulette), Glynn; daughters Genevieve (Kevin) Rumsey, Isabella (Lloyd) Fry, Patricia (James Wyse) Morrissey, Christine (Frank Wyse) Morrissey; sisters Marguerite (Thomas) Brennan, Alice Moore, Bridget Eades; sisters-in-law Mary Dunn, Carmel Dunn; sixteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Moore's Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Visitation Thursday 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. - 12 Noon, 2 p.m. - 5 p.m., 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. - 12 Noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from All Hallows R.C. Church, North River. Interment in All Hallows R.C. Cemetery, North River.
