Surrounded by his family, peacefully at the Henderson General Hospital, Hamilton, Ontario, on Monday, February 12, 2007. Kevin MacNeil in his 43rd year, loving son of Anthony and Carol (Baxter). Dearly loved brother of Daren and Suzie, loved companion of Wendy Laframboise and her daughters, Amy and Paige. Kevin will be sorely missed by his precious aunt Ella and uncle Wayne Callahan, and will be greatly missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kevin will be fondly remembered by his multitude of friends including: Steve Arndt, Scott MacLeod, Gary Swarbuck, David Bridge, Jeff, Tim and Don McEachern, John Steinbach and Ken Glover. Kevin was a well respected employee of St. Joseph's Hospital for 23 years where he received the Recipient of Care Award in 2003. Kevin continued his studies at McMaster University and will be missed greatly by all who knew him. The family will receive friends at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth), Hamilton, on Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer service will be held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Funeral mass Friday, February 16, 2007, at 10 a.m. St. John the Baptist Church.
