Pictou – The death of Leslie Ann MacNeill, 39, of Poplar St, Pictou, occurred February 20, 2008, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, after a long courageous battle with MS. Born in Pictou, she was a daughter of Peter and Vivian (Laurette) MacNeill. Besides her parents, she is survived by her brother, Rick (Gail); sisters: Lynn (Darell) Nelson, Karen, Brenda (David) MacLennan, and six nieces and nephews who thought the world of “Yeslie”: Austin, Arin, Heidi, Jennifer, Nigel, and Riley. Leslie will be remembered for her outgoing personality and sense of humour that she shared with all, including her V.O.N. caregivers. A “scent-free” visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Friday from Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Pictou, with Father Peter MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
