RIVERTON - Louis Wilfred Nicholson, 79, of the Riverton Adult Residential Centre, Riverton, Pictou County, died Wednesday, February 28, 2007, in the Halifax Infirmary, Halifax. Louis had been a resident of the Adult Residential Centre for the past 30 years or so. He is survived by brothers, Robert, Plymouth, Pictou County; and Hector, Oromocto, New Brunswick; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers: Allister, Johnny, George, and Arthur; and a sister, Catherine. Cremation to take place. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Sunday from the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton, with Rev. John Roy officiating. Burial of ashes at a later date.
