(Urologist). Wednesday, May 28, 2008, aged 76 years, Dr. Donald Dow passed away after a brief illness at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital with his wife at his side. Dr. Donald Dow was born on the Isle of Bute (Scotland) in 1931. Leaving to mourn are his loving wife Diane (nee Clarke) and devoted children: Donald James (Leslie Smith-Dow), Sara Jane and step-daughter Laura Elizabeth Currie. He also leaves behind two wonderful grandchildren: Kyle and Shaughnessy Dow; a very special aunt P. Jean Butler and other close friends and family to mourn. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 7 - 9 p.m. on Saturday and then from 2 - 6 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Chapel on Monday, June 2, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. No flowers by request.
