PICTOU LANDING – Margaret Agnes “Peggy” Fraser, 73, Pictou Landing, passed away Friday, February 8, 2008, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Thunder Bay, Ont., she was a daughter of the late Robert and Nancy (Watt) Potter. She was a member of the Atlantic Ministry of the Deaf, and the Pictou County Deaf and Hard of Hearing Committee. Surviving are daughters, Susan Fraser (Glenn MacLeod), Pictou Landing; Deborah White, Halifax; son, John “Billy” Fraser (James Rogers), New Westminster, B.C.; sister, Pat (Jack) La Plante, Parksville, B.C.; grandchildren: Chas (Cindy), Angela, Robbie, Stephen, David and Cole; great-grandchildren: Charlie, Chastity, Christena and Ethan. She was predeceased by her husband, John William Fraser; sister, Kay McClusky; brother, Robert “Bobby”. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday in Trinity United Church, New Glasgow, with Ms. Lori Crocker, Diaconal Minister officiating.
