Stellarton - Margaret Rose Penney, 63, Water St., Stellarton, passed away July 3rd, 2007, at home. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Rose (Duff) Dunn. Margaret had been a resident of Stellarton all of her life. She worked as a personal care worker at Glen Haven Manor in New Glasgow for 28 years. She is survived by daughters, Susan (Bernie) Hoare, Stellarton; Margaret Ann Penney, Ontario; sons, Alex (Jennifer) Penney, Stellarton; Jason Penney, Stellarton; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters: Viola (Jim) Stewart, Mt. William; Diane (Doug) Rutt, Hubbards; Linda (Harry) Watters, Sackville; Debra (Bill) Turnbull, Stellarton; Rosalee (Don) Helwig, Stellarton; brothers: John Robert (Donna) Dunn, Stellarton; Fred Dunn, Pictou; Roy Dunn, Kings Co. She was predeceased by her husband, John William Alexander Penney; grandson, Bernie "Boo" Hoare; brother, Harvey and several brothers and sisters in infancy. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton. Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow with Father Charles Cameron officiating. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society.
