Passed peacefully away on Thursday, May 29, 2008, at the Health Sciences Centre, Clarence Churchill Sr., age 70 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 44 years Lorraine (nee Crane); sons: Clarence Jr. (Donna), William Churchill and Levi Crane (Wanda-Lee); six daughters: Debbie Mitchell (Max), Tina Slaney (Eddie), Carrie Abbott (Ashley), Margie Abbott, April Stansford (Alex), Wanda Collins (Gavin); seventeen grandchildren: Charlene, Mary-Anne and Christopher Churchill; Rebecca and Amber Crane; Michael and Clarence Legge; Conrad and Jasmine Abbott; Austin and Jamie Abbott; April, Alexandria and Samantha Stanford; Noah Churchill-White; Abigail and Dominic Collins; sister-in-law Dorothy Crane; brother-in-law Lewis Crane (Nellie); sister-in-law Annie Tulk (Brian); brother Egbert Churchill (Gertrude); also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, from 2-4 and 7-9 on Saturday; 10-12, 2-4 and 7-9 on Sunday and 10-12 on Monday. Funeral service to take place on Monday, June 02, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from Memorial United Church, Portugal Cove.
