RUSE, Alice, age 101 of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia passed away peacefully on October 14, 2018 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born on July 23, 1917, in Clam Point, Shelburne Co., she was a daughter to the late Freeland and Matilda (Perry) Nickerson. Alice lived in Manitoba in her younger years where she met her husband John Ruse before moving back to Nova Scotia in the 1960’s. Once back in Nova Scotia she worked at Zellers in Kentville and Yarmouth. She was an active member of Zion Baptist Church until it was closed and demolished in 2014.
