Born in Northam on March 31, 1910, daughter of the late Edmund and Sarah Jane (MacArthur) Maynard. Mother-in-law of Geraldine Smith, Athens, Georgia. Predeceased by her son, Donald (2009); brothers, Leigh and Arthur; and sisters, Maude Frankel, Flora Thomson, Emily Newcombe, Gertrude Jack, Edith MacKay.
Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours on Friday, 1:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. Interment to follow in the Freeland United Cemetery.
Memorials to the Stewart Memorial Hospital Foundation or St. James Anglican Church would be greatly appreciated.
